We are excited to invite you to the De Mazenod Family Gathering 2022!
August 2019 saw us celebrate our inaugural De Mazenod Family gathering in Fremantle and was the beginning of setting up the De Mazenod Family Office. With everything that had been thrown our way in 2020, we were all becoming familiar with zoom and the wonders that can be achieved with technology, which saw us able to hold out De Mazenod Family Gatherings of 2020 and 2021 online. These online sessions allowed us to share the programs, events and resources that have been created since the inception of the De Mazenod Family, while we patiently wait for it to be safe for us to gather as a family in person once again.
We would have loved to have come together nationally as the De Mazenod Family, however, we felt that there were still a few too many uncertainties around travel in the time of Covid. So we have come up with the next best thing. The De Mazenod Family Team will be travelling to each state to run State Gatherings.
The aim of these gatherings is to provide an opportunity to connect parishes, schools and ministries in each state and to make the De Mazenod Family and the Charism of St Eugene known. Through various prayer, reflection and discussion sessions throughout the day we will break open this year’s theme: Pilgrims of Hope in Communion.

What you need to know
Given that these are different for each state you will find all the specific details on venues and starting times on the relevant registration form.
Registration for the event is free and lunch and snacks will be provided throughout the day. To help us with catering, please make sure you register.
A confirmation email will be sent after you complete your registration, and closer to the date of the gathering to remind you of all the details and anything you need to bring.
